Back with a new thread :D

Start with a trailer and a start date for the 6th and last Season if LONGMIRE. Sad it's the last Season but it has had a good run.

Anyone else watching THE DEUCE? It's about hookers and porn in 1970's New York. Not exactly wholesome family entertainment  , but it's growing on me. Also watching POLDARK and CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM.

Well...kinda disappointed thus far with the new shows. Makes me very nostalgic for some of my old faves :( Also...it is going to be a long wait for GOT and it is going to be the last Season. Ye,s it is time for it to finish but I am still sad. Anyhoo, I do like THE EXORCIST because it is well done and well written but my favorite right now is DIRK GENTLY'S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY on BBCA. Ridiculous and wonderful fun that is so confusing until it all comes together at the end. Tyler Labine and John Hannah joined the cast this Season along with an evil Alan Tudyk. All the actors are great IMHO.

For some reason I watched an episode of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND and I liked it. What a surprise  I'm 2 years too late for this one but I may try to catch it on Netflix or Amazon sometime. Still watching the same old ones either because I feel obligated for some reason and others to torture myself. Yes I am looking at you TWD and OUTLANDER. TWD still seems too focused on Rick's bad choices and Negan's never ending speeches. Sigh. OUTLANDER is a family obligation for me because all my cousins watch...including their husbands and mine  I don't like romance or chick flicks so if I found myself on a deserted island with nothing but romance/gothic romance novels, I'd last a week before jumping in the ocean to swim with the sharks 8-)

I haven't watched THE DEUCE but I may catch it OD. Not crazy about the subject matter. INHUMANS is even worse than the reviews. Critics like GIFTED but...why? I do like Van Helsing. Go figure. I did watch this last Season of SYTYCD and was mesmerized by the dancers, especially the winner Lex.

Anyone watching something to good? Bad? Opinions for this Season?

I finished watching STRANGER THINGS 2 and liked it. Much better than S1 IMO. I'm jaded so I couldn't give it the love so many gave the first Season. The actors are more relaxed (especially Winona Ryder). I like the young actress playing Eleven but the boys.....they were terrific. A lot of talent there.

After watching STAR TREK DISCOVERY, I have to say that it took until last Sunday with episode 7 for me to get immersed in this new ST. I watched the original ST (TOS) but only some episodes of the other ST series. I finally accepted the characters, the modern look of the ship and the look of the Klingons. Damn.....they are...ugly. Sorry, I can't be PC. It took me a bit to remember that the Klingons were the ones that did genetic experiments to look more human. STD (yep, that just sounds so bad) takes place 10 years before TOS. I'm like 15% Trekkie because I was only addicted to the original series but I just visited a few forums for STD and goodness! trekkies know everything about everything  Oh....and I got hit by lust bunnies with a new character on STD called Ash Tyler (yum) played by Shayad Latif (yum). It's always a bonus when you can swoon while watching

I'll have to catch STD--wait, er. ST:D. I'm still waiting to catch up on Stranger Things and waiting with bated breath for Longmire.
I saw a preview of the InHumans and it just looked awful. I was thinking about watching The Gifted, as Amy Acker is in it, but for some reason, meh. :)
I do like The Good Place, even though I'm not a comedy fan. It's forking hilarious.

I'm a huge fan of the original STAR TREK, but can't stand the other versions. Nevertheless, I would have given the newest series a shot if I didn't have to shell out money for it. Screw you, CBS!

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM has been a hoot. A fatwah on Larry David? I love it!

POLDARK is entertaining, but sheesh! I just want to smack Ross upside the head. Time to get off your high horse, buddy. So damned self-righteous.

Used to like YOU'RE THE WORST. Pretty funny in season one, but it's been circling the toilet bowl ever since. The two lead actresses are so damn shrill. I feel like my eardrums are going to bleed every time they open their yaps. Wish they would do a spinoff for the hip hop group Gretchen works with. Those guys steal every scene they're in.

Kind of bummed THE DEUCE ended its first season. Glad it will be back for season two.

Gave up on THE WALKING DEAD. The zombie gore can't overcome crappy writing.

No other shows to watch. Thank God for sports. :D

Love CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM but daaaaang! It looks like a strong wind could knock over Larry David and Richard Lewis  I will dearly miss EPISODES and I will push forward and finish the last Season of VICE PRINCIPALS.

Sisrer C - ST:D.....really? I'll stick With STD  Oh....the main character is played by Sonequa Martin-Green so we have another SMG :? I saw this article about STD and all the warring Trekkies out there. I thought it was good, especially the very last part -

Please, Myth, no self-respecting STAR TREK fan likes to be called a Trekkie. You're triggering me! ;)

I stopped watching TWD last Season. I just can't take 'stupid' or long winded speeches but I watched last week and about 10 minutes last night when I figured Shiva was going to be a goner. Go ahead show and rip my heart out over a CGI tiger!!!! Damn you Kirkman!!
